Latin America is the next step for Elie Saab
Mexico City will be the next stop for Lebanese fashion designer Elie Saab, as he announced to open his first store in Latin American this summer. The store will be located in the Santa Fe district of Mexico City- Saks Fifth Avenue as a shop-in-shop concept. It will sell his ready-to-wear line, couture evening wear and accessories. According to Women’s Wear Daily, This is the designer’s sixth store and the second shop-in-shop following the one in Harrods. Saab has already proved his intentions towards global expansion and currently has his own boutiques in Beirut, Dubai, Hong Kong and Paris.
Saab started designing in the early ‘80s and started with his own label in 1982. Many of his elegant designs have been seen on Hollywood stars on the red carpet.
