Tanneries Roux, the company based in France and founded in 1803, is well known for making of high quality leather products. Those products are produced carefully by its professional teams supported by the business’ efficient organizational structure.  Jean-Claude Ricomard will keep position as the company’s Chairman and will ensure to maintain the company’s successful growth strategy in the future. For the last 20 years, Les Tanneries Roux has partnered with houses such as Louis Vuitton, Loewe, Celine, Christian Dior and Moynat. It was Les Tanneries Roux that developed the smooth and supple calf skins suitable for high-end leather goods products. We shall not forget that the honor of developing the smooth and supple calf skins which is suitable for high-end leather goods products goes back to Les Tanneries.
Without a doubt, this acquisition reflects LVMH’s strategy to develop its expertise as demonstrated by its recent investment in the crocodile leather tannery Heng Long in October 2011 and the creation of “Les Tanneries de la Comete” in back in 2009.
